TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Conduct. I am bound by a professional code of conduct which means I will be polite, courteous, tidy and punctual. I will always act in a professional and ethical manner at all times. The car will be well clean and tidy. All cars used for tuition are fitted with dual-controls as standard equipment. The car is, of course, fully insured for driving tuition. Qualifications. I am fully licensed by the Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA) to give driving tuition.

Driving License. You must hold a current, valid driving license, provisional, full or international), and produce it on (or in advance of) your first lesson. You must also inform Drive4Life of any motoring convictions or pending action against your driving licence as soon as possible, and you will also need your national insurance number for ID purposes on your first lesson.

Payments. Please note payments must be made in advanced of  your lesson. If you book a course, a deposit or the full course fee is required. The deposit of the course is not refundable if you decide to cancel. A full refund, however, will be provided if you have to cancel for reasons beyond your control.

Lesson cancellation / postponement. As a minimum 48 hours notice  is required. Postponement of more than 4 hours in any one week will require a minimum of  3 working days notice. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in you being charged for the lesson / lessons.

Advance payment of lessons, Once paid you are contracted to complete. If you cancel for any reason, a Refund will NOT normally be given. If you have an unusual circumstance for the cancellation, than I may refund up to a MAX of 50% of remaining lessons paid for.

I reserve the right to postpone lessons if I feel that the weather conditions are unsuitable, dangerous and cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result. The same if the car being used for tuition developed a fault or needed repair.

The Driving Test. Driving Tests can be booked by myself on your behalf, or directly to the National Booking Office, either by telephone, internet or post (dates must be confirmed with me before final booking otherwise I cannot guarantee to provide a vehicle for the test).

In the interest of public safety I reserve the right to withhold the use of my car for test if in my opinion, your driving is actually or potentially dangerous.

3 working days is required by the Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA) for cancellation, postponing a test without loss of fee. This 3 day notice does not include weekends or public holidays. I cannot be held responsible for postponement or cancellation of test by the DVSA however, do all that is possible to help you reclaim expenses from the DVSA in such                    .

Your Statutory Rights. Nothing in these terms and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods or services provided. If you have any doubts on your statutory rights please contact your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice bureau.

Drive 4 Life complies with the requirements of Data Protection legislation with reference to the use of your personal details and Drive 4 Life do not share your details with outside organisations or companies without your express permission. Filming is carried out with the camera showing the outside view, no internal views are captured for insurance purposes.
